Our Vehicles

 

Continuing Care Transportation uses wheelchair accessible Patient Transport Vehicles, which are minivans that have undergone a chassis rear-entry modification with a lowered floor.

 

Our vehicles are maintained to the highest manufacturer recommended servicing schedule and undergo commercial vehicle inspections every six months at Alberta Transportation approved inspection facilities.

 

Our vehicles meet all CMVSS and D409 (w/c accessible) specifications and include:

 

·         Front and rear heating and air conditioning adjusted to client comfort

·         First aid kit

·         Oxygen and related supplies

·         Fire extinguisher

·         Cellular phone

·         Able to accommodate electric wheelchairs and scooters (maximum 31.5"x90"x58.25")

·         Power Inverters

·         Infection control kit

·         Company supplied wheelchairs.
